ID Verification

Keeping the Syzl community safe is our top priority. That's why every Food Maker and Kitchen Host on Syzl verifies their identity before booking or hosting. Identity verification is provided by Stripe Identity.

What you'll need

• A valid government-issued photo ID: a driver's licence, passport or government ID card

• A device with a camera, so you can take a photo of your ID

How to verify your identity

1. Log in to your Syzl account.

2. Tap Me in the bottom menu, then select Identity Verification.

3. Tick the consent box, then tap Begin identity verification.

4. Follow the on-screen steps from Stripe to photograph your ID.

Verification can take several minutes to complete. When it's done, you'll see PASS. Identity verification is one of the steps you need to complete before you can request to book a kitchen.

If your verification isn't successful

If your verification isn't successful, the app asks you to contact Syzl to review it. Tap Contact us, email us at help@syzl.io, or use the Support page in the app and we'll review it with you.
